Significant Conditions: Final One Standing
1. These terms and conditions apply only to the free-to-play version of Final One Standing made available online, being the free-to-play Public Games offered by William Hill via the William Hill website (williamhill.com) and its iOS and Android mobile apps.
- “Competition” means the recognised domestic football competition designated by William Hill as applicable to the relevant Game (for example, the English Premier League or the Scottish Premiership), as displayed in the FOS Lobby.
- “Matchweek” means the group of fixtures allocated to the same round of fixtures in the official fixture schedule published by the organiser of the applicable Competition.
- “Game” means a Final One Standing offering made available by William Hill in which Eligible Players may participate. Each Game is played in respect of a single Competition and is made up of individual Rounds.
- “Free-to-Play Public Game” means a Game created and managed by William Hill which is made available to Eligible Players in the FOS Lobby, offers a Jackpot Prize to the winner(s), and requires no purchase or payment to enter or to win. Each Free-to-Play Public Game is a separate Game with its own entry deadline and Jackpot Prize, and is played over a series of Rounds commencing from a specified Matchweek.
- “Round” means the set of fixtures determined by William Hill for a Game from which a player must make one team selection.
- “FOS Lobby” means the “Lobby” section of Final One Standing within the William Hill website or mobile app where the Public Game is made available to Eligible Players.
These terms apply to all Free-to-Play Public Games. Each Free-to Play Public Game is also subject to the Competition-Specific Rules applicable to the relevant Competition, as set out in clauses 26 and 27.
Free to Play Public Game Entry Rules
- Open the FOS Lobby (via the William Hill website or iOS or Android app);
- Select “Play for free” on the relevant Public Game displayed in the FOS Lobby;
- Make their first team selection for the Round 1 in advance of the Entry Deadline; and
- Confirm their choice and entry by selecting ‘Make Pick to join’.
10. Once an Eligible Player has joined a Public Game and confirmed their first pick, the Public Game will appear in their “My Leagues” section.
11. All Free to Play Public Games that are open for entry will be displayed in the FOS Lobby. An Eligible Player may enter Public Games displayed as open for entry, including where they are already participating in another Free to Play Public Game.
Making Round Selections
12. In each Public Game, new Rounds will be made available until the conclusion of the Game, subject to the Competition-Specific Rules. A Public Game concludes, and the Jackpot Prize is settled, in accordance with clauses 21 to 25.
13. In each Round, players must select one team from the fixtures included in that Round to win their match.
14. The fixtures included in each Round, together with the applicable Round Start Time (being the selection deadline for that Round), will be displayed in the FOS Lobby and within the Public Game. Eligible Players can view the fixtures by selecting “Make Pick” or “Edit Pick” while that Round is open.
15. For the duration of a Public Game, each team may only be selected once by each entrant, and a different team must be selected in each Round.
16. If a player’s selected team wins, the player advances to the next Round. If the selected team loses or draws, the player is eliminated from the Public Game.
17. Players must make their selection before the Round Start Time. If a player fails to do so, they will be eliminated from the Public Game.
18. Player selections may be amended at any time prior to the Round Start Time.
19. Where, after a Round has opened, a player's selected team's fixture is postponed before the start of the next Round, the player will automatically advance to the next Round. The postponed team will nevertheless be treated as the player's selection for that Round and may not be selected again during that Public Game.
20. Where, after a Round has opened, an Eligible Player is unable to make a team selection as their only remaining unselected team’s fixtures have been postponed, that Eligible Player will automatically advance to the next Round and their unselected team occupying the highest position in the official Competition league table (at the start of that Matchweek) will be treated as a selection for that Round. The automatically selected team may not be selected again during that Game.
Public Game Settlement and Payments
21. The Public Game will conclude when one of the following occurs:
- Only one player remains after correctly selecting a winning team in a Round;
- All remaining players are eliminated in the same Round; or
- Two or more players successfully select all teams in the Competition without making an incorrect pick.
22. When a Public Game concludes, the Jackpot Prize will be distributed as follows:
- Single remaining player - If one player remains after correctly selecting a winning team in a Round, that player will receive the entire Jackpot Prize.
- All remaining players make non-winning selections in the same Round - If all remaining players select teams that lose or draw in the same Round, the Jackpot Prize will be split equally between those players. Players eliminated in earlier Rounds will not receive a share.
- Multiple players use all teams without losing - If two or more players have each used all teams in the Competition without making an incorrect pick, they will be deemed joint winners, and the Jackpot Prize will be split equally between them.
23. If a Game is still active at the end of the relevant Competition, that Game will be closed. For any active Public Games, the Jackpot Prize for that Public Game will be split equally among players who selected a winning team in the final Round.
24. Any Jackpot Prize winnings will be:
- Paid in cash;
- Credited to the winner’s William Hill main account balance; and
- Made within 48 hours of the Public Game concluding.
25. Any winnings will be paid in cash and credited to the winner’s William Hill main account balance, within forty-eight (48) hours of the Public Game reaching its conclusion. Customers residing in Ireland will receive any jackpot prize winnings in euros (€). The amount payable for these winners will be converted from pounds sterling (£) to euros (€) using the GBP/EUR exchange rate applied by William Hill on the date the payment is processed. The exchange rate used will reflect a rate available from a recognised financial institution at that time.
Competition-Specific Rules
26. English Premier League Public Games
- An English Premier League Public Game comprises a maximum of 20 Rounds, corresponding to the 20 teams participating in the English Premier League.
- An English Premier League Public Game comprises a maximum of 20 Rounds, corresponding to the 20 teams participating in the English Premier League during that Matchweek, that Matchweek will not constitute a Round and the following Matchweek will become the next available Round.
- Where, as a result of one or more fixtures being rescheduled to a different Matchweek, an Eligible Player is unable to make a team selection as none of their remaining unselected teams has a fixture scheduled during that Matchweek, that Eligible Player will automatically advance to the next Round and their unselected team occupying the highest position in the official Competition league table (at the start of that Matchweek) will be treated as a selection for that Round. The automatically selected team may not be selected again during that Game.
27. Scottish Premiership Public Games

A Scottish Premiership Public Game comprises a maximum of 12 Rounds, corresponding to the 12 teams participating in the Scottish Premiership.
- A Round will only take place where all six fixtures (12 teams) are scheduled to be played during the relevant Matchweek. Where fewer than six fixtures are scheduled to be played during that Matchweek, that Matchweek will not constitute a Round and the next Matchweek in which all six fixtures are scheduled to be played will constitute the next available Round.
General Terms and Conditions
1. We expect you to be fair when you take part in promotions. We consider certain types of play to be unfair and to break these terms and conditions. These unfair types of play include, without limitation, the following:

Using ‘minimal risk wagering patterns’ (that is, a set pattern of bets or stakes that unfairly minimises risks or opposite betting);

Sharing personalised promotions (that is, promotions only available to specific customers we offer them to) with others and/or taking part in any personalised promotion forwarded to you by someone else when it was not intended for you;
- Colluding with other customers (that is, plotting with others to gain an unfair advantage) in relation to the promotion;
- Taking part in a promotion that is not available in the country you live in;
- Using more than one account per household or per IP address;
- Taking advantage of broken mechanics and combination of loopholes on the game that leads to abusing the promotion/offer/bonus; and
- Purchasing all the tickets for a free game; or repeatedly depositing, cashing out and redepositing purely to gain a deposit related bonus.

Void any bets funded by a bonus/offer (that is, treat them as if they had never been placed); or
- Remove any winnings relating to any bonus/offer.

Receive the free bets, or the full expected value of the free bets, from the promotion, where you have placed all the necessary qualifying bets.
- Place the remaining qualifying bets required by the promotion, and consequently receive the free bets, or the full expected value of the free bets, from the promotion, to which you would be entitled as a result; or
- Materially affect your ability to complete the qualifying bets required by the promotion.

Without giving you notice, if the change or cancellation is needed because of any change in law or regulation; or
- By giving you notice beforehand, if the change or cancellation is for any other valid reason (for example, if there is a fault in the software or systems we use to provide this promotion, we identify a mistake in these terms and conditions, or we are discontinuing the Promotion for any other reason).
