After a record-breaking campaign last year, Can City reach new heights?
Manchester City are based in the North-West of England. They were co-founders of Premier League upon its creation in 1992 but were relegated four years later before finally being promoted in 2002 where they have played there since.
The Citizens are one of the league's most successful clubs in recent times, having won the Premier League title three times in recent years. They play their home games at the 55,000 capacity Etihad Stadium having left Maine Road in 2003.
Pep Guardiola delivered Manchester City's fifth ever league title in 2017/18 in an unforgettable league campaign for the Sky Blues. City racked up an English top-flight record of 100 points to be dubbed as The Centurions.

Man City, a powerful opponent in football
Over the last several seasons, City have become one of the major powers in English football, winning the FA Cup in 2011, the Community Shield in 2012 and the Premier League title in 2012, 2014 and 2018 - alongside three League Cups in 2014, 2016 and 2018.
It has been incredulous viewing for City's long-suffering supporters, who for many years had to watch helplessly as bitter rivals Manchester United dominated England and enjoyed success.
The big change for Man City came with the arrival of the Abu Dhabi group in 2008 who started invested heavily in bolstering the team. The squad was shaped first by the Italian coach Roberto Mancini and then the reigns were handed over to Manuel Pellegrini who led City to the top prize in England once again.
City go for Champions League glory
City are objectively one of the strongest teams in Europe. They have a squad which is packed full of quality in every position, including the fabulous attacking talents of Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane and Brazilian Gabriel Jesus.
Huge investment has been made in areas of the team that was considered not adequate for Pep Guardiola's ambitions. During a recent transfer window, Manchester City spent £120m on three full-backs and then a further £60m on defender Aymeric Laporte.
Man City will surely be fighting at the business end of both the Premier League and Champions League for many seasons to come.
