Aintree is a name known across the world as the course that hosts the Grand National. The Merseyside track is a test for National Hunt horses with its challenging fences and energy sapping distances.

The track

Thirty fences make up the Grand National course at Aintree, complete with the iconic Canal Turn and Becher’s Brook. The 494-yard run-in has seen plenty of drama over the years. The Mildmay course sits on the inside with birch fences.
