Significant Conditions: Final One Standing WC26 Edition

 

1. These terms and conditions apply to the Tournament made available as part of the Final One Standing World Cup 2026 edition. The promotion runs from 12:00 (UK time) on Friday 15th May 2026 until 20:00 (UK time) on Sunday 19th July 2026 (the “Promotion Period”).

• A “Tournament” means the Final One Standing competition made available as part of the World Cup 2026 edition, in which Eligible Players can participate across a series of individual “Rounds”.
• A “Round” means a set of matches within a Tournament for which a player must select one team from the matches shown for that Round as the team they believe will win its match. The matches included in each Round are determined by William Hill, and the relevant Round timings are set out in paragraph 11.
• "FOS Lobby” means the “Lobby” section of Final One Standing within the William Hill website or mobile app where the Tournament is made available to Eligible Players.
  
  

Tournament Entry Rule

 

• Open the FOS Lobby (via the William Hill website or iOS or Android app);
• Select “Play for free” on the relevant Public Tournament displayed in the FOS Lobby;
• Make their first team selection for the Round;
• Confirm their choice and entry by selecting ‘Make Pick to join’.

 

10. Once a player has joined and confirmed their pick, the Tournament will also appear within their “My Leagues” section.

Making Round Selections

 

11. In this 2026 tournament edition of Final One Standing, the Tournament will consist of the following Rounds. Each Round will be available for entry between the following times (UK time). The “Round Start Time” means the deadline by which a player must make or amend their selection for that Round:

• Round 1  12:00 Friday 15th May to 20:00 Saturday 13th June (Group Stage)
• Round 2 08:00 Tuesday 16th June to 21:00 Wednesday 17th June (Group Stage)
• Round 3 08:00 Saturday 20th June to 17:00 Sunday 21st June (Group Stage)
• Round 4 08:00 Wednesday 24th June to 23:00 Wednesday 24th June (Group Stage)
• Round 5 08:00 Friday 26th June to 01:00 Saturday 27th June (Group Stage)
• Round 6 08:00 Sunday 28th June to 18:00 Monday 29th June (Round of 32)
• Round 7 08:00 Thursday 2nd July to 20:00 Thursday 2nd July (Round of 32)
• Round 8 08:00 Friday 3rd July to 22:00 Saturday 4th July (Last 16)
• Round 9 08:00 Wednesday 8th July to 21:00 Thursday 9th July (Quarter Finals)
• Round 10 08:00 Sunday 12th July to 20:00 Tuesday 14th July (Semi Finals)
• Round 11 08:00 Thursday 16th July to 22:00 Saturday 18th July (3rd / 4th Playoff)
• Round 12 08:00 Sunday 19th July to 20:00 Sunday 19th July (Final)

12. In each Round, players must select one team from the matches shown for that Round to win its match.

13. The matches included in each Round, together with the applicable Round Start Time (selection deadline), will be displayed in the FOS Lobby and within the Tournament. Matches can be viewed when a player selects “Make Pick” or “Edit Pick” while that Round is open.

14. For the Tournament, team selection rules will apply as follows, including where team selections reset during the course of the Tournament:

• During Rounds 1 to 7 (as outlined in Term 11), each team may be selected once. At the conclusion of Round 7, picks will reset and all teams left in the tournament will become available for selection again for remaining players.
• During Rounds 8 - 10, each team may again be selected only once per player. At the conclusion of Round 10, picks will again reset, and all teams left in the tournament will become available for selection again for remaining players.
• During Rounds 11 and 12, players can choose any team from the matches shown for each Rounds.

15. For the purposes of Group Stage matches (Rounds 1 – 5 of the Tournament):

• If the selected team wins, the player advances to the next Round.
• If the selected team loses or draws, the player is eliminated from the Tournament.
  
  

16. For the purposes of World Cup Knockout matches (Rounds 6 – 12 of the Tournament):

• If the selected team qualifies for the next round (wins in 90 minutes, extra time or penalties), the player advances to the next Round.
• If the selected team fails to qualify for the next round, the player is eliminated from the Tournament.

17. The Round Start Time (being the selection deadline for that Round) will be displayed in the FOS Lobby and within the Tournament. Players must make their selection before this time. If a player fails to do so, they will be eliminated from the Tournament.

18. Player selections may be amended at any time prior to the Round Start Time.

19. If a player’s selected team has its match postponed before the start date of the next Round, the player will automatically advance to the next Round. However, the postponed team will still be considered used and cannot be selected again in that Tournament.

 

Tournament Settlement and Payments

20. The Tournament will conclude when one of the following occurs:

• Only one player remains after correctly selecting a winning team in a Round;
• All remaining players are eliminated in the same Round; or
• Two or more players successfully select all Rounds without making an incorrect pick.

21. When a Tournament concludes, the Jackpot Prize will be distributed as follows:

• Single remaining player - If one player remains after correctly selecting a winning team in a Round, that player will receive the entire Jackpot Prize.
• All remaining players eliminated in the same Round - If all remaining players make losing selections in the same Round, the Jackpot Prize will be split equally between those players. Players eliminated in earlier Rounds will not receive a share.
• Multiple players complete all Rounds without losing - If two or more players make it to the end of the World Cup without making a losing selection, they will be deemed joint winners, and the Jackpot Prize will be split equally between them.

22. Any Jackpot Prize winnings will be:

• Paid in cash, and
• Credited to the winner’s William Hill main account balance.
• Made within 48 hours of the Tournament concluding.

23. Any winnings will be paid in cash and credited to the winner’s William Hill main account balance, within forty-eight (48) hours of the Tournament reaching its conclusion. Customers residing in Ireland will receive any jackpot prize winnings in euros (€). The amount payable for these winners will be converted from pounds sterling (£) to euros (€) using the GBP/EUR exchange rate applied by William Hill on the date the payment is processed. The exchange rate used will reflect a rate available from a recognised financial institution at that time.
 

 

General Terms and Conditions

1. We expect you to be fair when you take part in promotions. We consider certain types of play to be unfair and to break these terms and conditions. These unfair types of play include, without limitation, the following:

1. using ‘minimal risk wagering patterns’ (that is, a set pattern of bets or stakes that unfairly minimises risks or opposite betting);
2. sharing personalised promotions (that is, promotions only available to specific customers we offer them to) with others and/or taking part in any personalised promotion forwarded to you by someone else when it was not intended for you;
3. colluding with other customers (that is, plotting with others to gain an unfair advantage) in relation to the promotion;
4. taking part in a promotion that is not available in the country you live in;
5. using more than one account per household or per IP address;
6. taking advantage of broken mechanics and combination of loopholes on the game that leads to abusing the promotion/offer/bonus; and
7. purchasing all the tickets for a free game; or repeatedly depositing, cashing out and redepositing purely to gain a deposit related bonus.
   
   

2. If you take part in any play that we consider to be unfair, we may cancel any bonuses, offers or promotions applied to your account, reclaim any bonus/offer you have received as part of any promotion we have cancelled, and either:

1. 1. void any bets funded by a bonus/offer (that is, treat them as if they had never been placed); or
   2. remove any winnings relating to any bonus/offer.
      
      

3. William Hill reserves the right to refuse the whole or part of any bet, stake or similar transaction requested by you: (i) where you have breached these terms and conditions; or (ii) at any time in our sole discretion, except that we will not exercise (or seek to enforce) any such restriction if you have already made one or more qualifying bets in respect of the promotion and the exercise of our discretion would affect your ability to:

1. receive the free bets, or the full expected value of the free bets, from the promotion, where you have placed all the necessary qualifying bets.
2. place the remaining qualifying bets required by the promotion, and consequently receive the free bets, or the full expected value of the free bets, from the promotion, to which you would be entitled as a result; or
3. materially affect your ability to complete the qualifying bets required by the promotion.

 

4. Regardless of anything else set out in these terms and conditions, you can withdraw funds from your main balance at any time, except where we must withhold the funds to meet our legal or regulatory obligations.

 

5. 8. We can also award an equivalent bonus/offer to the one referred to in this promotion.

 

9. We will not be responsible for any technical, hardware or software failures, or any unavailable or lost network conditions which may result in incorrect information being displayed, or affect your ability to enter or take part in the promotion. If there is any dispute over your eligibility for the promotion, our decision will be final.
